Rape Victims Still Struggle To Get Justice

“Nobody Believed Me’: How Rape Cases Get Dropped” a New York Times article by Jan Ransom, details how the justice system doesn’t work for victims.

My second novel, “Clouds and Shadows,” details how this adds to a young mother’s trauma as she pursues justice and safety for herself and her son. I am currently seeking an agent and publisher to help me share this story and shed light on failures in our legal system. Sadly, the situation was much worse in the 1970’s when I directed a hotline and support program for victims of sexual assault. There is still much work to do to address a societal problem that continues to plague many women in our world.
